We’re celebrating September anniversaries with a little Q and A!
Meet four wonderful employees that have been with Taziki’s for 10+ years!
Q: What position did you begin with at Taziki’s?
A: I started helping with the morning prep. I then moved up and I am now able to work all of the kitchen stations. My favorite is the grill.
Q: What has motivated you to gain tenure here at Taziki’s?
A: I love my job and the work environment.
Q: What is your best memory about working here?
A: The team celebrated my birthday by getting a cake and singing happy birthday to me.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
A: I love playing soccer.
Q: What is one thing that maybe not a lot of people know about you?
A: I love to garden - I have a green thumb!
Q: How has the Taziki’s culture inspired your work over the last 14 years?
A: Everyday is a challenge. I have learned to embrace the challenges and enjoy them as they come. My job keeps me busy and on my toes!

Q: What position did you begin with at Taziki’s?
A: I started as a cashier and transferred to the Chace Lake location when it opened. I began working in catering at Chace Lake and have been doing that ever since.
Fun fact: Kelly has worked with the General Manager of Chace Lake, Hollis, since she was 16 years old.

Q: What has motivated you to gain tenure here at Taziki’s?
A: Our founder, Keith. I love him.
Q: What is your best memory about working here?
A: I love working with our HOPE employees. I also have great memories of Keith’s parents dressing up as Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause, then visiting the store every year around the holidays. It was the cutest thing ever.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
A: I love to spend time with my three kids and my brand new, 7 month old, grandson!
Q: What is something about you that not a lot of people know?
A: I used to be an ice skater. My dad was a professional Hockey player for Detroit and owned ice rinks, so I was always hanging out at ice rinks as a kid. I actually went to the Junior Olympics for ice skating!
Q: How has the Taziki’s culture inspired your work over the last 14 years?
A: Everyone has challenges. I always make sure that I remain upbeat and happy, so I can give people the positive energy they may need to make it through the day or the current challenge they are facing.
Q: What position did you begin with at Taziki’s?
A: I started at the salad station. I can now work all stations in the kitchen. I love the fast pace of the kitchen!
Q: What has motivated you to gain tenure here at Taziki’s?
A: I love my job.
Q: What is your best memory about working here?
A: There are so many. One that sticks out would have to be my birthday. The General Manager bought me flowers and cake, then everyone sang to me. We had a little party and it was really fun.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
A: I have been married for 27 years, so I enjoy spending time with my family and husband. I also like to salsa dance and go to church.
Q: What is something about you that not a lot of people know?
A: I am a pretty good singer!
Q: How has the Taziki’s culture inspired your work over the last 11 years?
A: It has inspired me to be present at home and at work. I am able to have a balance between both.

Q: What position did you begin with at Taziki’s?
A: I started as a cashier. I then worked my way to the kitchen and on to be an Assistant General Manager.
Q: What has motivated you to gain tenure here at Taziki’s?
A: I have worked at all of the stores in Atlanta and every single experience has been rewarding. The staff and guests have all been great. I have met a lot of great people that still remain in my life. The connections I have made over the last 10 years have been genuine and the Taziki’s workplace has always felt like a family atmosphere.
Q: What is your best memory about working here?
A: The time I served as the interim General Manager and was able to attend the Taziki’s annual conference in South Georgia. It was so much fun - a truly amazing experience. I really enjoyed meeting the Taziki’s executive team.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
A: I really like to go to the gym. I also enjoy going to any NFL and NBA sporting events. I am an Atlanta fan no matter what sport.
Q: What is something about you that not a lot of people know?
A: I am a good songwriter. I like to write here and there.
Q: How has the Taziki’s culture inspired your work over the last 10 years?
A: The Taziki’s culture has helped me have a reason to give my best. Connecting with different guests, seeing how satisfied they are, especially when I cooked their food and know they are happy with it, makes my work so rewarding.
