New Store Spotlight: Downtown Boise

We are thrilled to announce that Taziki’s Downtown Boise is now open for business! Local owners, Shawn and Hallie Tierney, are excited to share a taste of the Mediterranean with the Downtown Boise community. We asked them a few questions about their new location and what makes this store unique. Here’s what they said...

How long has Taziki's been a part of the Greater Boise area?

Our first Taziki’s location opened at the end of May in 2018 in Eagle, Idaho. 

What made you want to open a location in Downtown Boise?

We are both residents of Boise and wanted to bring the delicious flavors of Taziki’s downtown. We are excited to offer Downtown Boise something unique that we felt was missing. Taziki’s provides affordable, flavorful cuisine in an inviting and family-friendly atmosphere. 

What is unique about your Downtown Boise location? 

Our Downtown location is conveniently located beneath a new urban living space, The Gibson Building. Our location has a garage door that opens to a patio and is bordered by a city park, making it an ideal lunch spot to enjoy the fabulous views of our State Capitol building. 

 If you are trying Taziki's for the first time, which menu items do you recommend?

Most people associate Mediterranean food with a traditional Lamb Gyro. While that is delicious, we offer other gyros and menu items that are just as popular! A few customer favorites are the Basil Pesto Gyro, Turkey Club Gyro, and the Mediterranean Salad with Salmon. Everything at Taziki’s is made from scratch without the use of fryers, or microwaves, so you really can’t go wrong!
